Changing the text size
How to change the text size on a PC (Windows)
- Internet Explorer - select View / Text Size
- Firefox - hold down the CTRL key and press + or -
- Opera - hold down + or -
How to change the text size on a Mac
- Firefox and Safari - hold down the APPLE key and press + or -
- Opera - to increase text size, hold down the SHIFT key and press +. To decrease text size, just press -
Using a keyboard to navigate the site
Press the TAB key to navigate from link to link. You can also use access keys to navigate straight to the links for the main areas of the site.
How to use access keys on a PC (Windows)
- Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher - hold down the ALT key + the access key number + ENTER
- Firefox - hold down the ALT key + the access key number
- Opera - hold down the SHIFT + ESC keys to get into Access Key mode, then press the access key number. SHIFT + ESC must be pressed each time you want to use an access key
How to use access keys on a Macintosh
- For Firefox & Safari - hold down the CTRL key + the access key number

Downloading PDFs
This website includes some PDFs which can be downloaded. My web design/development resumé (276KB), for example, is in PDF format. In order to view a PDF on your computer, you need Acrobat Reader software. This can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.
