What I do
During my career in the web industry I've focused on designing and developing websites:
- directly for the people and companies who want them; and
- as a contractor or employee with various design companies
I have designed, developed and/or maintained over 170 websites since 1996 - some working directly with clients including Holmes Consulting Group, Office of Film and Literature Classification, Ministry for the Environment, Round Peg, Mills Group, Māori Media Network, Land Information New Zealand, Simillimum, Kakapo Recovery, The Gathering, Monkey Records and WOMAD; and others for design and development companies including Chrometoaster, DNA, Shift, Optimation, Origin Design, Oryx Technologies, Base Two, CWA New Media, Badger Communications and Mission Hall.
I take great pride in producing high-quality websites which are beautiful to look at, and which work as an effective marketing tool - achieving their aims while at the same time being accessible and easily navigated by their users.
